Fast Track Foundations Course

This quick-start guide helps you begin using R+ training right away. While your horse needs a few basic skills first, this course covers the essentials so you can get started quickly. You’ll learn how to introduce food rewards safely and calmly, tailored to your horse’s personality, whether they’re foody, anxious, pushy, or unmotivated. You’ll also teach core behaviours like standing and walking together, ‘stay,’ and targeting, while learning how to use a marker, structure training sessions, and build a strong working connection. After just a few sessions, you’ll be ready to apply these techniques to other behaviours you want, or need, to train.
