Handling and Healthcare Course

This Course shows you how to make everyday interactions with your horse calm, easy, and connected. Starting with the basics of touching, catching and haltering horses, it’s especially valuable for working with rescued, unhandled, or fearful horses. You’ll also learn practical, step-by-step techniques for leading, grooming, hoof care (including preparing for the farrier), and general yard handling, as well as how to support horses with challenges like separation anxiety. The course also guides you through common healthcare procedures such as injections, worming paste, and fly spray. Designed to be in-depth yet easy to navigate, you can jump straight to the lessons that are most relevant to you and your horse.
