This Course focuses on the human side of horse training - helping you develop the skills, mindset, and self-awareness needed to support your horse effectively. It explores how to build your confidence and understand your own emotional threshold, so you can stay grounded, calm, and present during training sessions. The aim is to help you create a relaxed and positive state in yourself that allows your horse to feel safe, supported, and able to grow in confidence. You’ll also look at practical training skills from the human perspective, including how you move, how you cue, and how to develop soft clarity in your communication. Alongside this, the course covers goal setting and mindset, helping you approach training with focus and flexibility. There is also attention given to your physical wellbeing, including yoga for equestrians, designed to help you stay balanced, grounded, and connected in your body. Overall, this course is about building a stronger partnership by developing you as a trainer as much as your horse.
